  We drove from London on someone's recommendation, mostly because my wife is a tea addict and they have a "tea room" she had to check out. The place was very nice and beautifully set in the woods, but that's where it ends. When my wife's tea came out she was disappointed to see the white PC (Presidents Choice) tag hanging from her tea bag. We drove 45 minutes to a tea room that serves tea from No Frills?!?!? I wish that where it ended. I order the special of the day, "Our own open faced burger" with a side salad for $16.97...so it comes out, the caeser salad and was pretty basic, nothing from scratch, and the burger patty was also store bought, probably also bought at the local No Frills in Aylmer. When I asked the waitress about it, she said that "our own" just means the bread was homemade. So I sent it back and got a tuna melt. At that point I couldn't tell if it was bad as well, or my disappoint took over my taste buds. Burgers are one of the most popular items at any restaurant and also the easiest of all the items to make from scratch. If you want to go to a tea room, it Sparta, if you want a good burger I would hit the taco stand when you come in to town, they make them from scratch.

  From the moment I drove up, the experience began. This place has so much charm and character. Nestled in the woods, the view from the dining room table is picturesque. The service was excellent.   Stayed here for one night with 3 others. Its is two one bedroom and bathroom rooms combined at the middle with locking doors and a very large common area. We arrived after 5PM so the owners left the key out for us, take note that if you arrive during the hours that the tea house is open, guests will be close by to you. We rented both rooms and had the cottage to ourselves. The cottage sits on looking a beautiful lake across from the owners of the B&B if you need anything. There is a trail that takes you around the lake and through the forest which is quite nice. Each side of the cabin has a private patio. Lawn chairs are plentiful placed around the lake for you to sit in and enjoy the view. Inside, the cabin is rustic and filled with art (all of which is for sale). There is AC and heating available which is a lovely addition for a cottage. The cottage also comes with a fridge, television, wifi, and a Netflix account! Take note that with any cottage there may be a musty smell in the summer if you don't burn a log. The included breakfast was at the tea house and was served before they open. Overall a fantastic meal and a fantastic experience at the cabin!

  It's tucked away in it's own magical place that automatically makes you feel calm and serene. The food is tasty I tried a pumpkin and pear soup and it was delicious! Go for a walk on the grounds, do a little shopping of local community materials and just have a great time!

  Beautiful setting, not too far from London. Restaurant is much more than a tearoom with a fantastic menu! Can't wait to get back when it's not so frigid.
